A Digital Timeline.

August 29, 2020: Our 1st food giveaway at First United Methodist Church, we were able to successfully give away 350 bags of food, containing mixed items such as: cereal, bread, milk & canned goods. 

October 24, 2020: Our 2nd food giveaway at First United Methodist Church, we were able to give away 1,000+ boxes of food. 

November 18, 2020: Our 1st annual "Thanksgiveaway" took place, where we gave 100 boxes of food away to families in need at local Lansing schools. 

December 19, 2020: Our 3rd food giveaway & 1st toy giveaway took place at First United Methodist Church.

February, 2021: We conducted our MONTH long "Black Business Highlight" where we interviewed black businesses/brands all month long & gave them a platform to promote. 

March, 2021: We conducted our "Women's Month" in March, where lady volunteers & TF South's "Girl's Club" went live on We Are Lansing's Facebook & Instagram to talk about mental health & issues women face.

March 6, 2021: Our 4th food giveaway at First United Methodist Church. We were able to give away 2,000+ boxes of food!

April 3rd, 2021: Our 5th food giveaway at The Serbian Social Center in Lansing, IL. We were able to give away 1,000+ boxes of food. 

May, 2021: A well deserved break for everyone.

June 1, 2021: The start of our ongoing #GIVEBACK, which allowed residents to donate clothes & kitchen items to We Are Lansing for Unique Thrift Store.

June 30, 2021: Our 1st blood drive to support local residents.
